Three TVs hit meaningful price drops this week. Here's the breakdown and whether it's worth acting now or waiting.
LG C3 55" OLED — $996 at Amazon (all-time low)
The LG C3 is the consensus best TV under $1,500. An OLED panel with perfect blacks, 120Hz, and HDMI 2.1 for gaming. The 55" is at $996 — which matches its Black Friday 2024 price and is close to its all-time low of $946. If you've been waiting, this is a legitimate deal.
Samsung QN90C 65" — $1,197 at Amazon (was $1,399)
Samsung's flagship Neo QLED is $200 off this week. Better brightness than the LG OLED (good for bright living rooms), but loses on black levels. Costco has it $50 cheaper for members at $1,149.
TCL 55" 5-Series — $379 at Walmart (cheapest 4K QLED right now)
If you want 4K quality for the lowest possible price, this is your pick. TCL delivers 90% of the Samsung QLED experience at 30% of the price. For a bedroom or secondary room, this is the move.
Pro tip: Avoid buying a TV in August–October. That's when prices peak before Black Friday. The LG C3 at $996 is as close to its Black Friday price as you'll see in April.
